Oh, fuck off with your reason.
This is b3ta. If I want to be irrationally and pointlessly critical of another's activity of choice then I will do.

They could be practising at escaping from lions, you know.
If you do ever need to escape from them, you want to be good at it.

As has been mentioned many times before
you don't need to run faster than the lions, just faster than whoever you're with. As I'm a comfortably faster runner than 90% at least of the population, I'm happy I'm good enough at it.

That does make the assumption that you'll be running in a crowd, though.
Which would be fine in an urban zoo situation. What if you get lost in Kenya though, have you considered THAT?

You'd just wait for the somali bandits to turn up

In my rather limited experience of Kenya
you're never outside spitting distance of a busload of fat Germans with heavy cameras.

Well in MY rather limited experience of Kenya,
you're gay.

That's the slamdunk, right there.

What if you're alone
because all the people you're with are sick of your inability to understand what they are saying to you without long and prolonged explanations?

That and you keep trying to have their suits adjusted by tailors.

You'd still be following me round, though, begging for attention.
So I'd only need to outrun you. Which isn't going to be a challenge.
(, Mon 12 Sep 2011, 10:40, Reply)
I find the idea of begging for your attention laughable
since I have accurately predicted when you are going to pop up and stick your oar in on numerous occasions already.
(, Mon 12 Sep 2011, 10:43, Reply)
Have you really?
Oh, well done.
