Morning Cap'n.
Wee Blaireau and I are sitting in our jim-jams, eating chorizo and parmezan omelettes whilst listening to the biblical rain outside. We are going mushroom hunting later, rather than staying in and tidying the house.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 10:23, Reply)
dammit, that sounds all lovely
i am jealous
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 10:24, Reply)
If the rain lets up it'll be grand!
Not the best mushrooming weather but what the hell :)
The woods we're going to tend to be pretty good for ceps and chanterelles but I haven't had time to go hunting yet this season. Here's hoping!
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 10:42, Reply)
do you have a good mushroom gun?

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 10:50, Reply)
A big stick!
And a net.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 10:54, Reply)
I have been productive today.
I've done study, finished my lecture notes for one class and am eating icecream.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 10:29, Reply)

Morning Cavy
Me, my friend, her baby and my chunky calves are off to buy winter boots.

It's all YaaYness as far as I can see, with the small possibility of a coffee date tomorrow.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 11:17, Reply)
morning
a coffee date? ooooOOooo

(is that like dating a mug?)
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 11:22, Reply)
If it goes well. Things might get a bit sauc(er)y.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:12, Reply)
perhaps cupping will be involved

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:17, Reply)
Maybe he'll get his hands on her (sugar) lumps.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:18, Reply)
and later
(tea) spooning
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:20, Reply)
I hope the spooning won't involve stirring someone elses porridge

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:23, Reply)
or staying up too lat(t)e

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:26, Reply)
I wonder if they'll be a double (pop) shot?

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:34, Reply)
and will it end with them espressoing their love for one another

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:35, Reply)
I hope this relationship is genuine.
I'd hate to think they're making a mocha(ry) of it.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:39, Reply)
I look away
And see what happens.

I quite hope that someone will be feeling my sugar lunps soon.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 13:40, Reply)
You will henceforth be known as 'sugar tits'.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 13:50, Reply)
I like it.
I hope it sticks.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 16:46, Reply)
We'll have to see sugar tits.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 16:56, Reply)
looks like it will.
Real sugar is sticky, not like aspartine, that stuff leaves a bad taste in your tea.

/at work
Meh, shouldn't complain. If I can get a good clear run of it this weekend, I stand a good chance of finishing by the end of the month. Starting to think drinking with my colleagues last not might not have been the most productive of ideas though.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 11:28, Reply)
I've been the bank.
Been to the bookies and been to the caff and had a fat-boy breakfast.

I've got washing on at the moment, and I'm going to have a gander online to see if I can find any t-shirts I want.

Are you possibly suggesting I speaks like Terry the Odd Job Man?
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:18, Reply)
No, you're far more eloquant.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:21, Reply)
Cheers Drive!
Mint.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:24, Reply)
this is efficient
i have drunk two cups of tea, got my best score on an online game and cleaned the damp from round a window.

next, more tea, laundrette, lesson plans, schemes of work, powerpoints and learning about things I have to teach next week.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:20, Reply)
I think the fact your Saturday includes scheming.
What online game did you play?
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:21, Reply)
this form of scheming is over rated
but i do get to put little badges on the bits where we reference welsh culture and diversity and stuff. This DEFINITLY improves how students learn.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:21, Reply)
I am going to do some ironing and then go to bed to read a book.
Whereupon I shall probably fall asleep till 5pm.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:23, Reply)
Blousie needs nap time.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:24, Reply)
i think saturday should be renamed
napaday and we all spend it napping
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:25, Reply)
You could probably re-work the opening theme to 'Wackaday' and make it 'Napaday'

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:27, Reply)
I've been up since 7.30 shopping etc.
Catch you all later.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 12:25, Reply)

just got to hoover some more, do the washing up and then have a cup of tea. Also managed to get ten minutes of trampolining in before it began raining again.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 13:08, Reply)
I've just had some cheese and onion crisps and I've got a cup of coffee on the go.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 13:31, Reply)
do you have a trampoline, then
or is this some terrible euphemism?
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 13:43, Reply)
Yeah a big one out in the garden
a trampoline that is, not a euphemism
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 13:49, Reply)
I had lunch with a trampolinist the other day.
I asked them if they had any winter pepper, they didn't, however they were were able to offer me somersault.
