(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 17:51, Reply)
I been around here long enough.
I'll stay a lurker and that, my posting experiences are over.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 17:52, Reply)
you've not been around anything like enough
To get any intelligence through that thick noncing skull of yours.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 17:54, Reply)
But he was an IQ of 187!
An internet test told him
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 17:56, Reply)
This site is fun, but at no time has anyone imparted any intelligence to me, apart from
the occasional attempt to say "Don't have this opinion because its not the same as ours",etc.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 17:57, Reply)
No, mostly people have said
if you have an opinion back it up with intelligent reasons
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 17:58, Reply)
They didn't do the same, ever.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:00, Reply)
This is untrue.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:02, Reply)
You weren't willing to accept
that people often have more life experience than you with which to evaluate whether theory will work in practice.

More than that your views were faddy.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:03, Reply)
Oh, no I accepted that.
What I then wouldn't accept was that their conclusions were the only valid ones.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:05, Reply)
For exapmple, just becuase one good person can tell one theory made their lives worse
doesn't mean I will discount the other two good people who tell me it made theirs better.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:09, Reply)
Nobody said that their view was the only valid one. Just that there are some views more valid than others.
Racist views are abhorrent, but are sincerely held by some people. The sincerity of those views gives them validity, but arguing through those views and exposing them as poisonous and ignorant makes anti-racist views more valid.

Do you understand?
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:12, Reply)
Yeah but, why do you want to apply this to mainstream politics?

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:17, Reply)
Because you have only a very basic understanding of things.
You should listen to Amberl.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:18, Reply)
Look, I've never claimed to be the beating intellect behind the Tory party, but just because I might not be able to argue very well
does not mean there aren't like minded people out there who could do so very well indeed.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:20, Reply)
oh dear.
Listen to yourself:

"I believe something that I don't understand but other people do"

Does that even sound like a valid point of view to defend to you?
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:22, Reply)
So you will hold a view, despite not having an argument in favour of it
and in the face of arguments against it.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:22, Reply)
Sounds religious to me.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:24, Reply)
And NO, look, I DO understand my views, I have never been given a chance to ever argue them logically.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:26, Reply)
Yes, you have. Right now you have.
And you are really not doing a very good job of it.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:28, Reply)
I am a member of several online forums in which I DO debate reasonably and throughly issues at hand.

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:28, Reply)
Are those forums for teenagers and schoolkids?

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:32, Reply)
Nope, not all of them.
One of them IS the Student Room, however.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:32, Reply)
That'll explain it.
Older and more intelligent posters on B3ta than the other forums you frequent.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:35, Reply)
That older= wiser is also cheep reasoning, surely?

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:47, Reply)
No.
Life experience is valuable.

You will realise this in due course. Older is not necessarily wiser, but maturity engenders wisdom.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:49, Reply)
Alright, thanks for the life advice, I'll remember to keep my mind open and appreciate that
variety of view is the spice of democracy.
Bye.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:52, Reply)
There are some pretty smart teenagers around too you know.
One on forum there is a Privately educated 18 year old Labour Member from Herefordshire. We could not be more different but get on pretty well and respect each others views. He argues very logically and often uses sound philosophical, and provable statistical reasoning.
And if you want an example of some centre to left wingers who I agree with, to show I'm not a total Ideological opinionator, you could do worse than Frank Field, Paddy Ashdowne, Brian Paddick and Gerald Kauffman .
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:54, Reply)
Frank Field is not left wing
Who was the second voice behind Nadine Dorriss' anti abortion amendment attempt? You spastic cunt.
(, Sun 18 Sep 2011, 4:41, Reply)
Yes you have, several times.
You just didn't manage to argue them logically is all.

You've taken an ideological anti-left wing stance but haven't actually explained why aspects of socialism or other left-wing ideas are meritless. All you do is say 'left wing is bad' without arguing as to why that is the case.

I can happily expound why I do not agree with political (or indeed any) conservatism, without resorting to cheap 'Tory = shit' lines of 'reasoning'.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:31, Reply)
Amberl is correct.
I was rough on you when you first appeared because of exactly this. No intelligent reasons to back yourself up with.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:02, Reply)
Is this the first time you've said that haha?

(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:04, Reply)
Yes, yes it is.
Did you like that Felix Da Housecat tune the other night?
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 18:05, Reply)
You're still posting.
You lied to me.
(, Sat 17 Sep 2011, 17:54, Reply)
After this thread ofc.
