Getting to grips with where the hook is supposed to go is a bitch.I'm still ending up with triangular pieces instead of square.

yeah, the end bits are what goes wrong for me, sometimesHow do you do the end bits? If you do double in the last one, turn, chain 1 then miss the next stich it's usually OK
