Owls are evil, blood thirsty carnivorous bastards
and that makes them pretty great. I spent a thoroughly enjoyable two hours taking photos of them at the Muncaster Castle Owl Trust Centre a couple of months ago.

I've never seen so many dead mice and dead chicks in one place before either.
