For arguments sake, I always say Shawshank Redemption is my favourite film.
But there is also Goodfellas, Boondock Saints, Serenity, etc.

EDIT: However, I think I can safely say there's never been a better horror film than 'The Omen'.

Alt: There's a few favourite quotes for me, one of which from a film I've not even seen yet

The Warriors - Ajax: "I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a popsicle."
Boondock Saints - Rocco: "Is it dead?" (after having accidentally shot a cat from about an inch away)
Serenity - River: "I swallowed a bug."
Watership Down - General Woundwort: "Come back! Come back and fight! Dogs aren't dangerous!"
Etc, etc.

My favourite scene, off the top of my head, is probably when River goes mental in Serenity.

AltAlt: It can be either, really.

AltAltAlt: I quite hate the War Of The Worlds remake, but I think that's also because I paid to see it. My least favourite film is either Meet The Parents, Something About Mary, Cloverfield or AvP 2. The only film I've ever switched off is Superbad.
