Should do.
I can't stress strongly enough that this is a theoretical plan thus far - haven't paid for or organised anything, don't know what time doors are or who's supporting. I'll let you know, thank you for your interest though :-)

No worries, I can suggest a pub if you're interested.

You'll have to, like I know where to drink in Camden

I would recommend The Dev if you're not easily intimidated
it's a goth/punk/metal pub but friendly enough, BTW are you sure you mena the 9th? It's a Sunday.

I certainly do, sadly
Train engineering works mean a three hour trip each way and not getting home until 2.30am. And if The Dev is a goth pub I daresay it'll be full of people going to the gig.

it's about a 10-15 minute walk away from the venue, so there's a fair chance.
and it's not so much a goth pub as the goth pub. I probably still know a few of the regulars, more worryingly I dated one of the bouncers and while we split on good terms not everyone there may be aware of this, which could be interesting to say the least.

Are you still on speaking terms with him?
If he gives you a hard time (fnarr) I'll defend you. I'm well tough, me.

She's one of my best friends
So I doubt there'd be any problems, just not been there since we were together. She doesn't work Sundays though.

Camden?
WTF?

Somewhere central would be nice.

Perfumed ponce.

Nicely played, FILM-boy
I didn't choose for the gig to be there mate, if it was up to me they'd be playing Norwich Waterfront and I could avoid going anywhere near you benders
(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 15:35, Reply)
Who's playing BTW?

(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 15:40, Reply)
VNV Nation
You won't have heard of them unless by virtue of me banging on about how awesome they are

I have Praise for the Fallen
Mostly because I think Joy is an excellent song, the rest of it is OK too.
(, Wed 21 Sep 2011, 16:03, Reply)
I'm impressed
Joy is indeed an amazing song. They open their headline set at InFest with that. I went absolutely spare.

They aren't that obscure, are they?
Techno-industrial isn't really my thing, but I like some of it and it used to get some play at The Electric Ballroom back in the day.
