I just went to cancel some magazine subscriptions that I've had for years, and the only way to do it is to phone a premium rate line or write to them by post.I just cancelled the direct debit and told them to get fucked.

Cancelling the direct debit has always worked for meI keep getting those '3 issues for £1' deals so I have to keep a check on my direct debits so that I can cancel it before they start charging full price.
