give me an uneasy reminder of how easy it would be to just let go of society and sanity for a while or for things to just get to a point where you are in that situation. Civilisation and warm houses is a thin veneer.

the place is like some awful
over-sanitised hell hole, where all creativity and dreams die and our spirit is replaced by valium.

Not that there's anything wrong with the stuff it sells, but the shops creep me out
