so long ago it was an actual letter, not an email, I think I was all hot and bothered about some proposed identity card scheme. He wrote back agreeing with me, I have no idea if it made a difference. But I am baffled as to how you can all get so worked up over a planning dispute that is in to process of being settled through the proper channels and a proposed tax relief that probable won't happen and will likely make very little difference to the world if it did.

Personally I was getting angry about a ridiculous mis-use of statistics in a horseshit report that was no doubt funded at the direct expense of some more relevant (and more to the point, properly done) research, which is something I have a fairly crucial vested interest in.

which one of the government's funding bodies will have paid a couple of million to fund being written. A bit more of an issue than some shit printed by a newspaper. It's the report itself rather than the news or implications surrounding it that fucks me off.
