I woke up before 8 for no reason at all
i've just been to view a house and have another two to look at in 20 minutes. None, thus far, have been very good for making defensible against zombies. What else should I be looking for?

Windmills.
I live a couple of streets away from a windmill which is being restored. It's in a suburb of York, so the windmill thing is pretty unique. When the main sails go on next year it will probably add a few thousand on to the value of my house.

Not as much as if I lived on the same street as it, but as you walk to my house from town you get a great view of it through the trees.

i think from some places you can see a windfarm in the distance. You can from where I am now, but that's because you can see everything from here

Make sure you can get a mobile signal there. I lived in one place where I couldn't and it drove me insane having to go outside in the rain to try & get a signal.
