It's a good idea :)
but won't do much for the pain just for the cold
(, Sun 23 Oct 2011, 23:11, Reply)

I thought the pain was causing(or at least exasperating) the cold.

(, Sun 23 Oct 2011, 23:14, Reply)
it's the temperature change
not just the cold. So another steep temperature change will just make it worse

Gotcha. I'll shut up and stop teaching granny to suck eggs.
Interestingly men tend to offer (and look for) practical advice, hence Jeff's an my response, women, on the other hand generally offer and expect a more emotionally comforting response to such things. /stuff I heard somewhere.

In light of this: That must be rotten, hope it gets better soon *proffer internet hug*

I've heard that
not sure if it's true. Anyone who knows me, knows my first reaction is to be practical and suggest stuff. Thanks anyway!

Some women can have typically masculine traits (my frind who is hurting is one)
and some men can express feminine traits (despite my obvious and excessive masculinity I have been told I am in touch with my feminine side more times than I am altogether comfortable with).
(, Sun 23 Oct 2011, 23:42, Reply)
Yup obvious and excessive ;)

Damn right, but I keep it in my pants most of the time to avoid making horses feel inferior.

I had a wander round oxford today and thought of you
how's things, apart from sore feet?
(, Sun 23 Oct 2011, 23:11, Reply)
Not bad thanks
think I'm becoming a tad down, but nothing too bad. Enjoy your wander?
(, Sun 23 Oct 2011, 23:13, Reply)
yes, oxford is lovely
and it was all sunshiney and stuff. I had no idea what any of the buildings were, though. Except the camera and trinity, obviously.
still no joy at all on the job front? not even temp stuff?
