I've had my marmite on toast for dinner, I've got a cup of tea (2 sugars) brewing next to me, today is a good day.
How are you? Up to much today/tonight?
Alt: Do you have a poppy? If not, why not? I don't have one because I've not seen a single seller this year.

Over the 24 hour mark now though so will risk a piece of fruit in a little while. Get me.
Alt: Same here mate, not seen a single poppy for sale anywhere.

I had the shits last year from December 22nd to December 29th. Ate Christmas dinner anyway. Not my finest Christmas with the family.

I have a weekend of nothing at all planned, and I can't wait as I've been working 12 hour days for three weeks now, so I intend to sleep.
Alt: No. Because I resent being made to feel guilty for not wearing one, which makes me stubborn so I don't wear one even though I'd happily wear one if sanctimonous twats didn't make me feel that guilt in the first place. I donated, but the Poppy remains in my bedsid drawer now. Maybe I should take a picture of me wearing it, put it on a placard and carry it around saying 'I bought a fucking poppy now fuck off'.
But that seems a lot of trouble to go to.
I appear to be in a shitty mood, I hadn't realised until that all just poured out.

I am very happy about this.
I am fine, thanks for asking. Today I'll be playing some snooker after work and then drinking some rum and watching films.
Alt: Same as you. I find that married sellers have the best poppies so I'm holding out.

He manages to be the only unfunny person in This is Spinal Tap - quite an achievemenr given his limited screen time.
I hate him, 'Bill Clay', and so should you.

Then again, there's a campaign for the Muppets to host, that'd be fairly entertaining.

I thought he was the only thing that has made the Oscars worth watching since I was about 13 and actually took them seriously.

"I'd vote for Jon Stewart" and it would prety much have summed up everything I believe in anyway.

and my five year old could do a better job than Franco and Hathaway last year.

It was a bizarre choice though. I can only assume it was motivated entirely by "they're pretty"

but at least it kept things interesting.

The show is enough of a shambles every year as it is.

That, and the prospect of running commentary from Statler and Waldorf

I doubt American networks are ready for Monty

The Oscars are vulgar and for cunts, 'film' actors are wankers - Gervais is a prick - the perfect match. They deserve each other.

I'd rather be able to have a small laugh at one of them.

I've watched them when I can since about 1987. They are what they are and I'd probably agree with any criticism you might have of them but I still enjoy watching it.
