Bootsale first thing. Two, in fact.
Then we started clearing out some major junk from the living room. You would not believe how proud I am that you can not only *see* my sideboard, but that it is also clean and polished (as are all the ornaments).
I feel all domesticated and that.

Just now I went in to the turkish shop behind me for some flatbread to make some pizza, and they had in their fruit stand...
... this fruit which is quite hard and brittle, tastes just like a cross between dates and chocolate, has tiny seeds that you can't eat (I think). I asked them what it was and they didn't know and the one person who did couldn't give me an english name (and the turkish one I can't remember). I also thought I've never had a custard apple or gwavah before so I get some of them too.
