From Guildford to Slough,
so an enormous climb down the ladder socially, but it's going to be much more convenient for work and stuff.

I worked in Slough for a few days once.
It struck me as a somewhat desperate place. But handy for the Sara Lee cake factory.

I'll really only be dorming there.
If I go out it'll be in London, or Oxford, or Guildford. I work elsewhere, I can't see much of Slough from the flat and it's a nice place.

I had Skips for the first time in years the other day.
They are nowhere near as good as they used to be. I am too aghast to even try the salt & vinegar ones.
