I have a question just for you. I am a little bit scotch (paternal great grandfather) As I understand the rules this entitles me to wear the tartan of my clan, technically. How offensive would you, as a proud scott find it should I choose to do so? Bare in mind I visited Inverness once when I was 2, I think I have no memory.

Following on from the above, would it be better or worse, in your eyes, for me to wear the 'hunting' tartan of my clan which is Black Watch as it is rather easier to come by than our other tartan(s).

But, in the process of double-checking that I was OK to wear it I found that quite a few clans use it, so maybe not. You're certianly argumentative enough to be one of my lot, so it's seems likely, who know's we could be distant cousins. :) Either way, I shall attempt to wear the tribal skirt at some point, always thought I had the legs for it. Do you reckon I'd get stabbed fro doing so in Edinberg at new years?
