Did you find it hard to watch?
I think it was the lack of music, it just made me feel uncomfortable watching it.

I got it from a torrent.
So I though that the low volume was due to that, but from what I've read it's just like that anyway.

Yes it's uncomfortable to watch but the bodies in barrels murders were horrible, seedy and sadistic. I don't think I'd feel comfortable watching a film about them which made light of any aspect of it.

What made it uncomfortable for me was just the casual nature of things, like the anal rape or when John Bunting just says to Jamie that that's his mate Barry in the barrel.

I think it's that the devil is in the details. I want to watch it again, I'll burn it to DVD and watch it on my telly rather than on my laptop.

It's a great film. Just not really 'entertainment'.

It's certainly an excellent film, but one I'll never watch again
I've not been as uncomfortable with a film since 'City Of God', that was horrific.
