Hmm, not really and they mostly made examples of folk.
The Romans had a simple solution to religion, worship who you like as long as you acknowledge our gods. So, they did get pissy at the Christians sometimes but mostly left them alone.

The Jews are the ones who really got it in the necks. One rebellion too many for them.

I do quite like history, classical stuff be fun.
To an extent cause it's difficult to view things from a certain perspective of that long ago. Easy enough to come out with dry facts but the mindset is so different.
