I just made a beef curry
I had 250g of cubed beef left over from Tuesday's beef stew so I diced an onion and 4 cloves of garlic, fried them in a large saucepan, rolled the beef in curry powder and threw it in when the onion started to brown, rolled that around a bit, added some cumin, coriander, garam masala and turmeric. When the beef had browned a bit I threw in a big teaspoon of chopped chilis, some tomato puree and umami paste, some chopped yellow pepper and some water. Then I simmered it for 20 minutes and served it with rice. Spot on! Although the beef was tougher than I'd hoped it was still nice, tasty and just the right heat.

Got another portion and the other half of the basmati rice for tomorrow as well.

you got to stop this
I had bacon and chips

Whilst on their own both of those foodstuffs are incredible.
Having just bacon and chips seems totally wrong. Unless it was a big bacon joint.

no, it was some bacon
I had poached eggs to, to make it more like a breakfast thing

Oh that's okay then
Having eggs with it makes it sound fine again.

Weird.

Whack it in the oven with a lid on it for about 30 mins
soften the shit out of that bad boy.

Duly noted, ta
It could definitely have been worse, I think I've got the hang of this cooking lark but always more to learn.
