A band I was in many, many years agoWere booked to play there. We took one look at the place, said "No fucking way" and turned around and drove home again.

That does surpise me, a lot of well known bands have played there.The Zombies, The Pretty Things, The Move, Slade, Wizzard, Judas Preist, the Stranglers, I could go on
I don't blame you hating Bilston.
As someone who lived there for 31 years neither would my dad.
