Weight loss twins!
Congrats mate. Annoyed that you can do this with diet alone whilst I'm pounding the treadmill.

I try and run 3 5k runs a week
each one burns around 330 calories, so a toal of 990 calories. that's half a day's food, somehow not eating for 12 hours seems easier

Fuck that
I used to run around the block (approx five minutes worth of running). That was more than enough for me. I don't do it anymore. Running is so undignified.

5K should take about 25 minutes
75 minutes of running spread out over a week is easier than going without food for 12 hours?
(, Fri 20 Jan 2012, 9:27, Reply)
What I'm saying is it feels like it should do more than 990 calories, thats all

The rowing machine is the worst. 2000m in 7:34 should burn more than 150 cals

There's nothing more depressing than getting up early to do a run and blowing it with a Twix before you even reach work

*strikethrough involving blowing off twins*

I literally haven't had time to go running or weight training yet.
After this weekend I shall start

You'll only break your back

Running actually helps it
My body doesn't work in normal ways for some reason
(, Fri 20 Jan 2012, 9:34, Reply)
This is normal
Contrary to old advice, resting a bad back is not the best treatment. Exercise will repair it far better. Although probably something more gentle than running.
