I can try!
Still fastest growing "city" in the UK
3rd highest number of new buisnesses per 10,000 population
5th Highest Business stock
4th best public/private employment ratio
Highest real term wage increases in the UK
Only £70 per week less average earnings than london
2nd highest housing stock growth.
We do push out a shit load of CO2 though.

'Highest real term wage increases in the UK Only £70 per week less average earnings than london'
This is why my ex-employers are experiencing a few issues with their employees and finding it difficult to recruit. After the company moved from Aylesbury, most of the staff have been looking at the local job prospects and realising that everyone else pays better wages, then asking for pay rises and, when they're not forthcoming, leaving for pastures new. I heard that in interviews to replace one of the shop-floor guys, once the salary level was mentioned the factory manager was laughed at (more than once) and one guy walked out!
Shame.
