The problem is not getting people to agree with you.
It's to stop people voting for the parties they've always voted for because that's what their parents voted for etc etc. Stupid fucking public.

and they'll check the facts, then once a month I'll expect each editors to come to downing street and explain their failure to inform the public accuratly.

Well, no
a very, very large part of it is that the public are extremely unlikely to vote for "some bloke" even if he has the best ideas in the country. Because he's just some bloke. People don't just always vote for the party their parents have, but they will always vote for a major party in the most instances, because a major party is the only thing that will have a say in the country being run.
