I have work to do today... BECAUSE I'VE STARTED MY NEW JOB!
Aaah - back in the land of the gainfully employed, woohoo!
In other news, went to the leaving 'do' of an ex colleague (at her request) and my presence mightily pissed off my ex-manager and the MD of the company. I believe that was her strategy.

Quick Q - I have about £600 to spend on a laptop for work - any suggestions?

Give me the £600, delete your account and kill yourself.

Interesting suggestion
Let's run that up the flagpole and see if anyone puts mayonnaise on it.

Ebuyer and Scan are your best bets for looking for laptops, I find

Yeah, if it's just for work, spend 300 quid on a low end Acer
and go buy something fun with the rest.

Buy this and spend the rest on cheese and "thai massages"

I'm sure my new employers would understand if I bought that.
I'll skip the cheese though.
