How is having a nuke more danger to yourself than to anyone else.

If you don't put the lid on properly.

Mostly because everyone else has bigger and better ones.
In reality, if Iran lauched a nuclear strike it would probably be taken out by missile defence systems elsewhere. There would be fallout but not world-destroying. on the other hand, if the US, say, decided to retaiate, there might not be much left of Iran.

Hahahaha. Missile defence system. That's priceless.
Stopping a supersonic nuke?

Iranian nuclear delivery would almost certainly be based on something Scud-like, surely?
I don't recall there being much of a problem taking them out.

They don't work that well. The accuracy is appalling.
If it's supersonic you've got no chance.

I beg to differ
apart from a few occasions AEGIS has proved to work against Cruise, SR, LR and ICBM. It's even been used against the atmospheric kill vehicle thingys (can't remember the names).

Edit: MIRVs
