You're a mug because you're complaining about having to let your friend stay with you when you actually want to live alone.Unless of course you don't actually want to live alone and are just talking shit.
Of course, if you do want to live alone, you would have been better off just giving your current flatmate the deposit for her flat, or at least loaning it to her.
