I cannot for the life of meunderstand why people pay good money to visit a different country and then venture no further than the hotel pool and bar.

I'd much rather explore the culture of where I'm visiting than doss around a pool all day.A couple of days of it is fine but it would bore the arse off me pretty quickly.

Most of these places don't have 2 weeks of culture. They DO have 2 weeks of beggars.
