The health reforms however are simply a leftfield way to eventually force in a much more widespread private healthcare system under the radar, so I suspect you'll find a few people who like the idea.

but the claim in that article "We believe that putting the NHS into the hands of health professionals rather than a bunch of bureaucrats is the way forward" is fundermentally wrong, health professionals shouldn't be in control of accounting, IT, logistics, pay, site maintanance, and all the hundreds of other things that actually let them care for patients, that should be done by bureaucrats.

is that they don't know how to run a business. The NHS swallows money because it's not run efficiently. It's purpose might not be to make money, but running as if it were would save far more money than constantly reforming it.
