Is there any way you can just go through one genre? I don't want to listen to shite indie claptrap or acoustic nonsense.

there's a bunch of options. I think "for you" is for when you've hearted a bunch of songs it can draw from songs from people who hearted similarly but "moods" might do you.

Oh, and if you have an account there's a genre setting
where you can restrict it, which is probably what you're looking for. For me it has to be pretty crap to make me skip it, so I don't bother.
