I read Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy when I was a kid, and the sequels, and that's the extent of my science fiction ouevre.

A prescient and not otherwise destructive dog (late) ripped my Douglas Adams collection to bits and I'm not sorry.

But my chosen specialist subject is the US Civil War. A four year war with more stories in it than any sort of fevered imagination could ever shoehorn into pulp sci-fi.
