Mate, it's a scam, all the big companies do it, they say they're having a sale, a summer sale, a spring sale, an easter sale...etc.
They're only not having a sale for 24h a year, when they're closed. It allows for them to say 50% of when they've trippled their prices.

Don't be pushed into the hard sale, they'll be another open day/weekend/week/whatever in a month's time.
