I don't really hav an opinion on them, as such.
I guess I'd prefer to keep them, rather than be a republic, on balance. England's always been a hierarchical society. It'd be a shame if we lost a link to our past. I don't think republics are inherently better than constitutional monarchies.

But no, I'm not celebrating the jubilee. They don't throw parties for my red letter days, I see no reason to celebrate theirs. Thanks for the day off though, Liz, yeah?
