It is expensive
but it's pretty, it's very fast, it's very light and the same size as a macbook so I can cart it to/from lectures on the bus/bike etc easily, and I've had Sony laptops for years and they're incredibly reliable.

But mostly I like the colour.

I also can't abide using them. Ipods are fine but all macs induce in me is rage and hatred.
