I believe you missed the subtle nature of my joke
You see the original said "That shit was distressing". the prefix to a sentance of "that shit" is typical amongst the afro American community, thus by referring to AA as "Chris Rock" was was insinuating that he was in fact afro american and not greasy white northern English.
