I ain't played on one yet.
But for £160 its fucking well worth it, I'd go for this over the Kindle Fire any day of the week (I mean, even if you could get a Fire over here).

Work have a few ordered so we can develop on it, so I'll know more then. I find a lot of android tablets are unresponcive... the screen takes a few microseconds between your finger press and the action, especially on the cheeper ones, but I think that won't be a problem with this one.

I'd pick one over a Kindle any day, and only reason i'm not getting one for myself is because I've got iPad.

This is going to be the next big thing though, the first real "ipad killer", should be out at christmas: www.microsoft.com/surface/en/us/default.aspx

I have a large laptop but want something small also for train journeys and in bed.
I don't want to spend too much as I'm just interested in internet and movies.

If you want to use it as your main computer, like when you're at home, and money was no object, I'd go for a Macbook Air 13", from apple's hidden little refurb store (or a newer model if you got moeny saved)
- store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/specialdeals/mac/macbook_air/11

If you want to use it as a second device, not your main computer, like just in bed/traveling/etc, and moeny is no object, then i'd get the latest iPad.

If you like the iPad but want to save a few quid, you can knock about 1/4 off the iPad by going for an iPad 2, which is still a totally awesome device, but remember the lifespan for software upgrades is a year less.

If you want to use it as a second device, and want to save a few quid, but still have a totally amazingly rad device, go for the Nexus.

Thanks Gonz.
I want to use it as a second device and maybe eventually pass it on to my nephew so the Nexus looks good.
