Grandad was a rear gunner in the Lancasters (44th Sqn)
Farfar (Danish Grandad) was in the resistance.

Dunno what my Gran did. Probably eyed up American servicemen for nylons. Farmor was in occupied Denmark, so probably didn't have a great time of it...

maybe if your granddads had spent more time fighting and less time shooting from the rear the germans might not have won world war 2

as an englishman i do feel bad that we had to rely on america and russia to sort it out for us
and that germany have a stronger economy than ours/are the daddies of europe
