Actually I might have held back on the divorce and inherited her properties and lump sum pension when she died. Then married the missus.

or perhaps when I got my A levels I did quite badly, but got a place at uni anyway. There was a moment when the woman on the phone hesitated before saying I still had a place. If it had been a no, I think my life would have been very very different
