Re your Alt...
I hope you'll be over this by September. Not sure I fancy a hip hop night out.

That isn't the point.
I don't have 'da riddum' for a hip hop night.

I dunno Jeff, give it a go.
Have a listen to the fabriclive mix by DJ Spinbad. It's great.

dunno why you laugh though.
It's just a stage name, it's like when bands have a name rather than just calling themselves 'Tony, John, Brian and David'.

Monty has their first yellow vinyl gatefold sleeve limited edition 12"

I thought the pun was funny.
I like puns. It was quite clever because it's "Spinbad", "spin" for the DJ bit, "bad" being the colloquial "street" term for "sick", "illin'" or otherwise "good" ie "badass". It also references a pirate. Pirates are also "sick", "illin'" or otherwise "good" ie "badass".

In conclusion, I "laughed" because it was "funny".

I got called a pirate in Nation of Shopkeepers
Even though their door policy proscribes them.

I even explained 'the angry pirate' to the barman.

I have never successfully delivered a completed Angry Pirate.
I have tried though. I have tried.
