alt: Not sure of the truth of this,but when I went to uni 20+ years ago we were told only the top 5% went to uni.
It's a much bigger proportion now, have 4 or 5 times as many people really achieved that standard, or has it been lowered in order that more people stay in education to keep them off the unemployment figures?
