I have a kindle and it's great. iBooks are often cheaper, so if you read enough then you've recouped the cost of the device after a while.(

That's fucking bollocks for startersI've seen numerous instances where the kindle version of a book is more expensive than a print copy. The whole pricing system for kindle books is fucking stupid, it's like they have learned nothing from the decline in the music industry.

Depends on the book. New hardbacks are expensive as an iBook, a great deal of books are cheaper.iBooks also attract VAT and save a hell of a lot of space too.
I still buy cookery books, they'd be shit on a Kindle.

Amazon and sony are doing a bunch of 20p books at the moment.I'd happily pay a quid per book and if there was a decent selection, I'd buy a kindle immediatly.
