It was poorly handled,
due to the public love for what everyone thought was a great man. Well, actually, we all thought he was a creepy sex pest, but the media, being so fucking stupid, actually believed that we all thought he was a hero and didn't want to upset us, or his memory, or whatever other bullshit they want to make up, to hide the fact that for years they supported and promoted a serial child rapist. It's another one of those times where the media act the cunt, because they think they know best. It is not uncommon.

The media protected him as he raised millions for charity every year, which would cease if he was publicly named as a nonce.
