Online psychometric and aptitude testing later.
Soup for lunch, dinner with girlfriend later. Rock 'n' roll.

Hope Formby doesn't find out, for your sake.

Psychometric tests are bullshit.

Agreed!
I walked out of an interview once because the company used a graphologist to determine your pschological profile FFS!

In your face corporations!

(, Wed 24 Oct 2012, 10:50, Reply)
I bet you'd think using a graphologist is a good idea.

It helps them to target consumers with their preferred type of pen.

Never even heard of one, but I know capt hates to confirm to corporate will

It's not about not 'conforming to corporate will'
I very much doubt that anyone's personality or suitability for a job can be ascertained from a sample of their handwriting. They might as well use your star sign or consult a psychic or homeopathist ffs!
Couldn't take them seriously

Good work.
By guaranteeing you wouldn't get a job that you presumably wanted enough to apply for, you definitely stuck it to the man.
(, Wed 24 Oct 2012, 11:14, Reply)
The job was appealing, I grant you
However, using graphology as a recruitment tool made me doubt their sanity.

As did their willingness to interview me tbh.
(, Wed 24 Oct 2012, 11:16, Reply)
that, I grant you, is fairly retarded
in both cases roffles
(, Wed 24 Oct 2012, 11:20, Reply)
One thing's certain
I wouldn't hire me!
(, Wed 24 Oct 2012, 11:22, Reply)
a small number of companies know how to use them properly
and they are very effective. But otherwise, I agree, although it;'s not that they are bullshit per se, it's just most companies don't understand how to use them.
