I once hitched
From Edinburgh to Glastonbury and back... My final lift was in a Rolls Royce of a chap who owns a chain of stores in Scotland and was going to St Andrews (proud moment of blagging) but I cant remember his name, as it was about 15 years ago now.

he was a really sound chap to be fair and drove like a lunatic up the A1, after going through a couple of speed cameras asked what the speed limit was as he didnt normally drive but his chauffer was off.
