I am so busy that I am going to retrieve some dehydrated onion from it's packet in the cupboard. I am then going to retrieve a measurer, measure. Put packet away.
And it's CHOP an onion. You cut up a body. Like the body of someone who is so stupid they say "cut up an onion".
