Were they put up by the subject themselves? did the person who put it up online have a model release form?

i don't, but if i went to a gathering of internet people
and someone was taking photos, and i knew the group had a flikr pool, i'd have a fairly good idea of what they were there to do

especially when many have met in real life and know what each other look like. Just ask the photographer to not put your photo up if you don't want it up.

All I'm saying is, you're doing something very sad and pathetic, and quite stalkerish... and now you're feeling that you have to justify your actions.
I really don't care if you're rude about me or not, I would be creeped out if someone I interacted with on here started searching through flickr for pictures of me, and I imagine most other people would too.
