Alt: my pal Richard bullied Brian Molko until he cried at a party once.Best cover songs: Led Zeppelin's entire output*, 'Black Betty' by Ram Jam, 'Give Her a Great Big Kiss' by the New York Dolls, Hendrix's covers (Dylan, Troggs, Beatles, Chuck Berry etc), 'Tomorrow Never Knows' by the Pink Fairies, there are fucking millions.
Special mention goes to Psychic TV: their covers of 'Are You Experienced' (with the vocals by Genesis P Orridge's 12 year old daughter) and the Button Moon theme are easily two of the most truly unsettling songs I have heard.
*this is a very 'knowing, blues expert wanker' comment. I'm one of those, you know.
