Used to be that on a Saturday, we'd finish at around 2 and be straight down The Cellar till dawn. But with ladypig at home, and the dogs, and not really wanting to fall out of a cab, I head home early. But I still can't go to bed.

your laptop in the dark, smoking a reeking foreign cigarette, listening to jazz and speaking in an outrageous french accent

Sat in the sofa, feet up, trousesrs off, bottle of grolsch and a spliff, watching "worlds wildest police videos" or some such.

I just heard the news that stalking is now a proper offence :(

I mean, are you allowed to facestalk? How far do you go?
Perhaps I could set up a service for other people to stalk, but I'd have to take some precautions now it's illegal

Nightmare journey up - had to change trains before we even left as someone had a heart attack and was being attended by paramedics. Dump the body on the platform and go, I say.
Then due to the delay - plus another at Coventry where some dickhead held the doors open for several minutes until his mates got there (the announcer didn't use the word dickhead but did use the words "CCTV" and "Police") - the train stopped at Birmingham International and everybody had to run up onto the concourse and down onto another platform and pile on another train. And of course people piled on and just stood in the bloody doorway rather than move down inside the carriages until practically beaten with sticks. *belms*
Still, had a good time once I actually *got* there. Good food, lots of booze and other stuff, good company. Crashed out on the sofa around 3am and then woke up in time for Match of the day at 7:40. Then napped until around 11 when other people surfaced.
And none of the tubes I needed were closed on the way back, which was nice.
