I once had the misfortune to be in HailshamIt closes at 5:30pm - all of it.
Once was in a pub in Stevenage town centre which closed at 6pm too

You know it's a rough townif the pubs shut before 8pm.
There are a couple of estate pubs near me that do that. You would only be seen dead in them.

this^We walked in and the barman would only serve us halves due to it shutting in 15 mins
Eventually managed to find another pub - phew!
