I bought a record off HMV last year.
I think it was the only purchase I ever made with them. It was Steve Hillage Live at Deeply Vale Festival, it took them about 9 weeks to deliver it despite being listed as 'in stock'.

Way to go in the 'digital age' you backward, overpriced spastics.

How have you managed to avoid HMV all these years?
It is your personal fault they are dying.

When I was buying a lot of records, they only had shit ones, and charged the earth for them.
Soz HMV, you were shit cf Virgin Megastore, etc etc.

Winchester had excellent record shops inc a superb 2nd hand one. No need to head to Southampton for the corporate bollocks experience.

it's my fault.
I torrented the entire back catalogues of PiL, Leonard Cohen, House of Pain, Bark Psychosis, Burial and John Coltrane.

Jesus wept why on earth would you want House of Pain's back catalogue?

(, Tue 15 Jan 2013, 9:00, Reply)
Purely for Jump Around.
Everything else they did was shit apart from that track they did with Helmet.
(, Tue 15 Jan 2013, 9:02, Reply)
so why download the entire back catalogue?

That's how he found out how shit they were.
Actually 'On Point' is a decent record apart from the vocals.

Long before House of Pain, Everlast did a tune which appears on the Rhyme Syndicate LP alongside Hijack. That was not much cop either.

I've bought loads of very reasonably priced stuff from them.
There has often been a bit of a wait, but they have never been unable to fulfil an order, even for pretty obscure stuff.
(, Tue 15 Jan 2013, 8:52, Reply)
Yeah?
Would maybe you'd like to fulfil my order of FUCKING OFF AND DELETING YOUR FUCKING ACCOUNT YOU CUNT? By the way if possible I'd like to avoid 'a bit of a wait'. Thanks x

There is an estimated* six to nine week delivery time for that, I'm afraid.

*I mean this figure has been plucked out of thin air and you could be waiting for the rest of your life.
