I mentioned this the other day.
Standard childcare cost in London (for a qualified registered minder; nothing special) is about £12 an hour. Say you're working a 40 hour week and you spend an hour a day travelling to & from work, so 45 hours a week = childcare costs of £540 per week out of net income.

So you need to earn about £40k a year just to cover your childcare costs.

That you have to pay for something you need?
We should apply this logic to everything. I can't afford it so people that work in this industry should be paid less.

I want a Bentley, but I can't afford one. So all the employees who build the cars should do a day for free so I can afford one.

Exactly.
I've got a "returner" who is supposed to be coming back at some stage. She is acting like the firm HAVE to accomodate her wishes. Silly, baggy vagged baby machine.

I keep telling everyone I don't need her, hopefully they will get rid. Fucking working mothers, pain in the neck.

Haha, you'll struggle to get rid of her.
She can swan in and out as she pleases now.
